TEN TONE DOZER
formed in the Shetland Islands, Scotland in 2005 by Australian Dave Kok (vocals) and Jamie Duncan (lead guitar). Also in the TEN TONNE DOZER line up is fellow ex-NORTHERN RAGE rocker Mick Tait (guitar), Jonathan Stevens (drums) and Jamie Hatch (bass). TEN TONNE DOZER have built themselves a mighty reputation not only in Shetland, but also throughout Scotland, the UK and parts of Europe through their empowering, energetic and consistent live performances and professionalism. TEN TONNE DOZER have played with and supported a variety of acts such as Faroe Islands metal powerhouse SIC, Glasgow legends ATTICA RAGE, Inverness rockers STOLEN ORDER, as well as metallers SAMSARA (Germany) and MONSTER TONE (The Netherlands).
Since the release of TEN TONNE DOZER’S E.P ‘The Valley’ in 2007 the band continue to find new fans across the globe. TEN TONNE DOZER continually receive radio airplay on terrestrial FM and internet stations throughout the UK, Australia, Europe, and North America, including ZetCast in Shetland, BBC Scotland, legendary metal DJ Simon Oskam’s Metal Chapter on RTW FM (The Netherlands), and The Rock Show on CPR 7-LTN FM (Australia). Numerous features, interviews and reviews have been published in regional, national and international press, magazines and webzines, all increasing the band’s profile. METAL HAMMER magazine impressed with ‘The Valley’ E.P rated it 8/10, and ALPHA VUNK fanzine was quoted, ‘ …the best thing to rise out from the ashes of the Shetland metal scene in 20 years’.
Comparisons have been drawn to the likes of CLUTCH, ORANGE GOBLIN, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY and PANTERA but each member of TEN TONNE DOZER brings their own influences to the mix. Their musical roots are firmly planted in the classic power-groove riffs of BLACK SABBATH, AC/DC, KYUSS, LED ZEPPELIN with touches of thrash metal from SLAYER and EXODUS. Staying true to their music and delivering powerful songs and performance with an unbridled enthusiastic attitude and belief within themselves – while standing aside from the latest passing trends & fashions – have found TEN TONNE DOZER an ever-increasing, loyal and passionate worldwide fan base.

MONSTERTONE
Monstertone was founded in January 2007 by Jeff van Dockum and Ron Debie when they found eachother through the internet. They both wanted to make some tunes with some influences from the seventies, but also with some modern stuff.
After they searched for a drummer for a couple of months they found Skip Paesschen, and it looked that he was the drummer they were looking for,Powerfull. But that was just one half of our rythmsection,so the search went on to find a bassplayer. We asked George de Ruiter who played bass in Jeff’s other band , because we had a gig suddenly coming up.The Gig went well and George decided to stay with us.
Next problem! . We still didn’t had a singer. The only one who could do the job in a short time was Jeff.So he decided to do the vocals for the time being. But after doing some shows and a good review of our demo in Aardschok july 2008,Jeff is still doing the vocals. Now its 2010 and we are ready to record again, not a new demo but a fulllenght cd.We will start to record in March 2010 and hopefully have the cd ready around The end of may.Looking for a label that will work with us will also be a priority, besides of course of the gigs we will be playing.Because that’s what matters the most
At the moment Monstertone is growing as a band, because of the gigs we played in the last months, the new ideas and the fun we all have making this music that we like so much. The songs we write are not the new big thing,We don’t need that. When you like bands as Led zep and Sabbath or (newer) bands like pantera or corrosion of conformity, you have to check us out live.We just want to get on your stage and rock the Hell out.
