OSKAR OHLSON
Oskar Ohlson is quite a phenomenon. Being mainly a drummer, you find his work orchestrated by a collection of homerecorded organs, flutes, bells, violins and various modified sounds, yet seeming familiar in their origin but impossible to retrace. Being mainly a drummer, Oskar more or less modestly defines his songs as being "beats". If these songs are beats, then hell - theyre doubtlessly his sui generis trademark of an indefinably kind. Creating compositions which are capable of standing on their own, are nevertheless enriched by vocal artists from various genres.
