Die nächste DUB&BASS deckt mit Om Unit und Subreachers wieder ein großes
Spektrum bassgetriebener Musik ab.
Londons Om Unit brachte 2009 mit dem reduzierten und Hip Hop lastigen
„Pop Lock Remix“ von Jokers Hymne „Digidesign“ sein erstes Vinyl heraus.
Ein Jahr später offenbarte er in seiner „The Corridor“ EP auf
Plasticians Terrorhythm Recordings seinen vielseitigen Stil mit einer
überzeugenden Mischung aus Elektro, Hip Hop und Dub. Darauf folgte in
2011 die elektronische „The Timps“ EP auf Civil Music, dann mit
Kromestar das futuristisch, sphärische „Solar Cycle/Merkabah“, und damit
die erste Veröffentlichung auf seinem eigenen Label „Cosmic Bridge“. Als
„Phillip D Kick“ Experiment veröffentlichte er dann anonym Footwork
Remixe von bekannten Jungle Stücken, diese Einflüsse fand man wieder in
der folgenden „Transport“ EP auf Civil Music sowie der aktuellen „Dream
Continuum“ EP mit Machinedrum auf Planet Mu.
Subreachers aus Belgien formierten sich als DJ und Produzenten Duo in
2008 und veröffentlichten seitdem zahlreiche deepe Dubstep Stücke auf
Labels wie Compound One, Kraken, Orientis und zuletzt 2011 auf
Hospital's Schwesterlabel „Med School“. Jetzt wird ihr Konzept
variationsreicher Dubstep Sounds mit einer Person fortgeführt und es
folgen Stücke u.a. auf Australiens „Aquatic Lab“ Label.

The next DUB&BASS with Om Unit and Subreachers will again cover a wide
spectrum of bass driven music.
Londons Om Unit released his first vinyl in 2009 with the reduced and
Hip Hop heavy "Pop Lock Remix" of Jokers anthem "Digidesign". A year
later, he revealed in his "The Corridor" EP on Plasticians „Terrorhythm
Recordings“ his versatile style with a compelling blend of Electronic,
Hip Hop and Dub. This was followed in 2011 by the electronic "The Timps"
EP on Civil Music, then with Kromestar the futuristic, spherical "Solar
Cycle / Merkabah", and thus the first release on his own label "Cosmic
Bridge." As "Phillip D Kick" experiment, he then published anonymously
Footwork remixes of famous Jungle tracks. These influences were found
again in the following "Transport" EP on Civil Music as well as the
current "Dream Continuum" EP with Machinedrum on Planet Mu.
Subreachers from Belgium were formed as a DJ and producer duo in 2008
and have since released numerous deep Dubstep tracks on labels such as
Compound One, Kraken, Orientis, and most recently in 2011 on Hospitals
sister label "Med School". Now their concept of varied Dubstep sounds is
continued by one person and tracks are following (amongst others) on
Australia's "Aquatic Lab" label.
